New District General Manager

Kathy comes to the District with almost 30 years of experience working for, and with, government organizations on land use and public utilities planning, natural resource management, and public service delivery. Throughout her diverse career, Kathy has built strong regional relationships that will be of great value to Woodinville Water District customers.

Most recently Kathy has been working for Seattle Public Utilities where she worked on regional water supply planning and delivery, and where she has been managing regional water supply contracts and relationships for the City of Seattle. In her role with Seattle, Kathy managed Seattle’s Water Operating Board, which Woodinville Water District participates on. 

Kathy has a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Washington University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was selected as Outstanding Environmental Science Scholar and as an Association for Women in Science award recipient. 

Kathy has lived in the Northwest her entire life and enjoys art, music, gardening, camping, hiking, kayaking and spending time with family and friends in her time off. She lives with her husband, Patrick, in Sammamish and has a lot of family that also live in Washington State including her daughter, son-in-law, and 3 grandchildren.

The new General Manager says that she is excited about her role and is looking forward to getting to know the community that the District serves. Kathy shared, “I feel truly honored to have the opportunity to lead the District’s team in continuing to deliver excellent utility services that meet the community’s needs now and in the future.”
